Suez Cement Group of Companies expands its activities in the field of ready-mix concrete, a sector where the Company is already active through Ready Mix Beton (RMB) and Ready Mix Beton (Egypt) (RMBE). 
RMBE has reached an agreement with the shareholders of Decom for the acquisition of 100% of the shares. DECOM is an Egyptian company owing a network of five batching plants and with an annual production capacity of 500.000 cubic meters of ready- mix concrete.

Through this acquisition RMB-RMBE becomes the leading Egyptian ready-mix producer with 135 concrete truck mixers and an annual production capacity of more than 1.2 million cubic meters of ready mix.
 
DECOM is supported by 2 batching plants located in Greater Cairo area and by additional plants located in Alexandria, Suez and Al Sadat. In 2006 the revenues of Decom have reached approximately 126 million Egyptian pounds.
