SCGC sponsors "person of the year" in El Minya Governorate

Suez Cement group of Companies has sponsored and supported the "person of the year" competition announced by El Minya governorate as part of celebrating the governorate’s national day on 18 March. This reflects SCGC’s vision towards sponsoring and supporting innovators and talented people in the governorate as a form of social engagement. SCGC also sponsors several other events.

The governor of El Minya, during a meeting with Dr. Hamdy Salah on behalf of Plant Manager Maher Ghali, said that the idea of this event was to highlight and honor young talents in El Minya over the past few years so that they become role models for their successors in El Minya or in Egypt in general. He praised El Minya Plant’s social engagement initiatives.

Plant Manager, Eng. Maher Ghali, said that the initiative aimed at strengthening communication and social service between the company and El Minya community and promote SCGC’s social engagement in the governorate.
