Blood donation campaign held at Helwan Cement Company

Cairo, 30 March 2011. A blood donation campaign was held at Helwan Cement Company (HCC), one of the Suez Cement group of companies, in collaboration with New Kasr El Aini Hospital.  More than 80 employees underwent a complete pre-donation check up, then rolled up their  sleeves to donate much needed blood, demonstrating their eagerness and commitment to support their community. 

The aim of the campaign is to cooperate and help the health care institutions that are in continuous need for supply at hospitals and encourage HCC staff’s participation in fulfilling its commitment to the community in all aspects of life. The campaign also helped generate awareness about the importance of blood donation and its significance in saving lives during emergencies and accidents.
