“Go Green” initiative launched in Suez Cement for second year

In the second consecutive year, Suez Cement group of Companies (SCGC) launched an initiative for its employees and their children under the slogan of “go green”. The activities were witnessed by all group plants in the period from 8 to 10 September 2019.

The initiative aims at raising awareness of the importance of protecting the environment, highlighting the group's environmental policy and non-stop efforts in the environment protection field and activating contributions of the group in achieving goals of 2030 vision through supporting forestation and increasing the green spaces in its plants, thus enhancing the environmental awareness and maintenance of the public health.

SCGC Chief Executive Officer Jose Maria said that the group has launched this initiative within the framework of its efforts to spread the environmental awareness and culture in the minds and behaviors of all employees and their families. He stressed commitment of the Group towards sustainability for 2030, as it should be shown in our minds and daily activities.
