Environment Minister honors leaderships of “Helwan Cement” and “Tourah Cement” companies in appreciation of the great efforts exerted by the two companies to reduce the negative impacts of black clouds”

Minister of Environment Dr. Khaled Fahmy, in the day of recognition, honored Helwan Cement Company and Tourah Cement Company, subsidiaries of Suez Cement Group of Companies (SCGC), in appreciation of the great efforts exerted by the two companies to reduce the negative impacts of acute climate change episodes known as the “black clouds” period.
The Minister has presented certificates of appreciation to the Manager of Helwan cement plant, Eng. Ahmad Ragae, the Manager of Tourah cement plant, Eng. Omar Khorshid, the Manager of Environment Department in Helwan cement plant, Eng. Ragheb Hammouda and the Manager of Environment Department in Tourah cement plant, Eng. Badry Ibrahim.
The honored leaders expressed happiness and pride with this honoring; stressing that it represents one of the values of industrial business in Egypt adopted by the Environment Minister. They added that this honoring encourages the private sector industrial companies to sustain their efforts towards the environment compliance.
They stressed that the protection of environment is one of the values on which the work in SCGC is based for the sake better Egypt and cleaner environment.
