Ready Mix Beton

Since its establishment in 1985, Ready Mix Beton (RMB) has grown to become one of Egypt’s leading ready-mix concrete producers. Suez Cement Company has owned 52 percent of RMB since October 2006. RMB together with the ready-mix company Decom, produce more than 1.2 million cubic meters of concrete and have a market share of 16 percent.

RMB and Decom are supported by 20 central mixing plants, 8 of which are located in the Greater Cairo area, on the same premises as three of SCGC’s five facilities. The two companies also have a fleet of 173 Truck Mixers and 41 concrete pumps.

Our expansion into the ready-mix concrete sector offers an opportunity for growth in the industry given the overall market conditions in the cement industry and RMB’s experience in the sector. The incorporation of the RMB group as part of SCGC is a strategic partnership that serves our goal to become industry leaders and to best cater to the needs of our customers.
