Heidelberg Materials - Suez Cement S.A.E

Established in 1977, Suez Cement Company is the largest grey cement producer in Egypt. The company has plants in Suez and Kattameya equipped to produce the highest-quality cement using the “dry method” which incorporates whitewash and primary heating. The company serves the domestic market and also exports some of its products to Arab, African and European countries.

Suez plant

Built in 1979, the Suez plant currently has two production lines that use the dry method production process. The cement plant and two quarries are located in an area spanning 3,095,000 m².

• CEM IV / A (P) 42.5N SR (According to Norms EN 197-1/2011 and ES 4756-1/2022)
• MC 22.5 X (According to Norms EN 413-1/2011 and ES 8498-1/2022)

Kattameya Plant

The plant was established in 1981 and spans an area of 4,200,000 m².
