Compensation & Benefits Manager

Job Purpose:
Plan, direct and develop compensation and benefits activities of the organization by ensuring that the programs are updated, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements to improve employee satisfaction and guide managers through compensation decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze compensation policies, governmental regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plan.
  • Study the compensation and benefits best practices and assist the Human Resources Director in developing a competitive compensation and benefits strategy.
  • Design and approve with HR director the compensation policy, procedure, and programs in accordance with the internal needs of the organization to attract and retain high calibers.
  • Calculate the staff cost, headcount, and FTE to draft the HR Budget and monitor its effective implementation on monthly basis to take corrective actions in case of any major deviation from the planned budget.
  • Participate regularly in salary and benefits surveys to benchmark the remuneration packages versus the market as well as to forecast trends and assist and develop future action plans.
  • Undertake job evaluation system to define job levels and families to reflect it in the company’s official grading system to ensure to internal equity.
  • Ensure that all new hires are offered remuneration packages in compliance with our internal grading system to reflect their job weights.
  • Mange the planning and calculation of all salary increases (annual increase, merit Increase, social…etc.) to guide managers through compensation decisions.
  • Plan and manage all benefits’ plans and operations and other customized schemes to ensure its compliance with the com. & ben. strategy, business needs and employee satisfaction.
  • Review and ensure implementation of competitive compensation and benefits strategy to help the organization recruit, retain best employees and motivate current employees.
  • Plan and direct work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, and labor relations.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, human resources Management, finance, or relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience in all aspects of HR.
  • Experience as a Compensation and Benefits Manager or similar role.
  • Extensive experience in Korn Ferry job evaluation methodology
  • Experience in remuneration studies analysis
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS or payroll software.
  • In depth knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation, human resources modeling.
  • Proficient in MS Office package.
